Temporal staying in Singapore

For Indonesians who have limited budget to stay for less than a week in Singapore may choose Lucky Plaza apartment for temporal staying. The rates are vary from SGD$40 - SGD$100 (SGD $1= IDR 5700 – IDR 5800). Above SGD$80, usually the room is facilitated with the bathroom inside. The rate SGD$40 would have one single bed, SGD $50 one queen bed size, SGD $55 one queen and one single bed. Even if you come with three persons, the SGD $70 room is enough because it has two queen bed sizes. All rooms are equipped with television inside. Lucky Plaza has 30 storey. From the first floor to the 7^th floor is used for shopping center and the rest for apartment (cmiiw).

The important thing is many Indonesians live there. You don’t have to worry even if your English is poor. Just ask them if you’re obscured about the transportation, finding halal food, and so on. Sometimes in the lift, you’ll hear several persons talk in Bahasa Indonesia, and sometimes they accost and smile at you asking “dari mana? “ “ada acara disingapur?”. You’ll find more intense friendly relationship among Indonesian here than in Indonesia.

It’s easy to find Indonesian food in this apartment. You can go down to third floor for ayam bakar ojolali, fourth floor to request ayam penyet in restoran Surabaya, and … sorry I forgot the others. I usually had my lunch and dinner at Ayam Bakar ojolali. Taking Ayam Bakar with tea will cost you SGD $6.5. Compared to Ayam Bakar in Indonesia, Ayam Bakar in Singapore has bigger chest flesh and surely satisfies your starving tummy.

Hey how about the location? I can say it’s very strategic. It takes only five minutes from MRT station and most importantly it’s located at Orchad road, the most well known shopping center road in Singapore. Yeah… it saves your shopping time and very convenient for leisure walk.

During my staying, there was a Lion dance competition in front of Ngee Ann city building. People all together was watching the Lion dancing and jumping from one pair pile to another higher pair pile. The bad point is that the clatter sound which accompanying the lion was too loud and had just trembled my chest when I was stepping closer to the show. Even from 20^th floor of my apartment, the sound was still loud and really disrupted my sleeping time.
